A few days ago, Asia's first TEU Container Ship -- "COSCO Asia" round the naming ceremony held in Ulsan Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard dock. "COSCO Asia" round of COSCO Group to four ships with the Hyundai Heavy Industries for the first ships, ships with a total length of 349 meters, width of 45.6 meters, maximum draft of 14.5 meters, can accommodate 10062 standard 20 foot container, the total discharge of 140000 tons, the maximum load of more than 110000 tons. "COSCO Asia" round box containing the COSCO container fleet in the number and the highest level of intelligent ship, is currently Asia's largest container ship, with Lloyd's register awarded the "green" class ship symbol.

"COSCO Asia" round will be left Ulsan in August 6th, plans to 9 from the Tianjin port first Europe, into China to Europe route operation.

With the "COSCO Asia" and other several TEU Container ship have been put into operation, the COSCO Group's capacity will be further increased, the fleet structure is becoming more rational, and gradually adapt to the market development needs, as the fleet later widely participate in market competition, to seize more market share to create excellent hardware strength.
